New knitting book

My husband seems to mean I don't need another knitting book. The book shelf tends to agree with him...

But this is a wonderful book with so many nice patterns. I fell for this one, bot knitted and crocheted.

This cute top is a fave, too:

These were the patterns that prompted me to order the book, but there is so much more (59 patterns in total, to be exact).

What about these?

Or this one, in ribbing? I have not casted on for anything yet, having way too many WIPs at the moment, as you can see in the sidebar.

The book is "A Stitch In Time, Knitting and Crochet Patterns, 1920-1949 Vol. 1" by Jane Waller and Susan Crawford (aka justcallmeruby), from knitonthenet. I baought the book from their online store.

I have Jane Waller's book of vintage men's patterns. This looks wonderful. I love those patterns from the 30's and 40's.

There's no such thing as too many knitting books, lol! I've seen some of the patterns from that book on ravelry, they're beautiful designs.

Oh hah, what do men know. My husband thinks I don't need more shoes, but I'm not going to listen to him about that either. :)

It is a fact you can never have too many knitting books! There looks like that are some really nice patterns in it.

I can't resist new knitting books either. They're inspiration, eye candy... even if I never knit from them they bring lots of pleasure.

Oh knitting books - best medicine ever!! Just get a new book shelf and tell your husband what will happen if you stop bying knitting books... LOL!!! Remember to check capris.no - they have free shipping and all the new and old knitting books. I always check ravelry and amazon.com for more info. Good luck expanding your collection!!!!

I bought the book as soon as I saw the red Sunray ribbing sweater. Fabulous book, I've paid up for the followup book , just beautiful vintage sweaters.
PS I certainly don't need another knitting book either but what's that got to do with anything

Gammalt jungelord seier at ein aldri kan ha for mange strikkebøker... men eg slit òg med at Mannen ikkje heilt ser det på den måten... :)
